Faces of TLF – Bhavin Patel

Meet Bhavin, level 4 Quintiq Specialist and Director of Delivery Services in India.

Introduce yourself: who are you and what do you do within TLF?

Hi, I am Bhavin Patel, a Level 4 Quintiq Specialist. I have been working at The Logic Factory India for the past 12 years. After being in the technical role for years, lately I’ve embraced the new managerial role of being Director for Delivery Services in India to take my career & department to the next level.

What do you like about your particular role?

What intrigues me about this role is that it has a wider scope of responsibilities in leading a collaborative and hardworking service delivery team along with the team managers in India.  I love being able to contribute to  continually ensuring that we can deliver the best services. Together, we’ve grown by learning new skills and helping to make a difference in the community through providing direction & guidance as needed.

What’s your favorite part about working for TLF overall, please explain.

My favorite parts about working for TLF are the work-life balance, empathy & autonomy at work, and the “flexible” growth for individual employees.

Who are you outside of TLF? Family/ friends, etc. How would they describe you?

Well, family and work account for a lot of my time… besides spending quality time with family, to fill my spare time, I like to watch documentaries & TED talks. I have a few good friends with whom I really love catching up with or having a night out with a couple of times a month. I also enjoy going out for long walks in an effort to be healthier.

These days, I realize that I’ve also started spending more time playing various sports, doing activities like crafts & hand painting. Most of which takes up most of my time outside of work, although they all depend on my son’s mood.

Unexpectedly, people in my circle of friends & family have different opinions about me, at least everyone finds me supportive!

What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?

For fun these days, I take advantage of my time with my 3-year-old son. Beside going out, to play in the park & pool, we put together new things each week… last week we built a mini-fort using the sofa & cardboard boxes. A few weeks back we decorated the walls with a jungle theme in our house. It was a great way to refresh…being childish & create fun memories.

Any fun hidden talent or skillsets?

I have great deal of fun hidden talents, it’s just that they’re so hidden, even I cannot easily find them!! Nevertheless, some colleagues in India lately think that I am immune to cold temperature in the office… LOL

A message to all?
