As a Supply Chain Planning application consultant, you are responsible for implementing DELMIA Quintiq software at our customers. Our customers range from mid-sized to large international companies, all looking for advanced planning and scheduling (APS) solutions providing optimization capabilities. Our customers are diverse, you will be solving a variety of challenging KPI-based puzzles: logistical, manufacturing or workforce planning puzzles are just examples

Job requirements

As an ideal Supply Chain Planning application consultant, you will possess the following attributes:

· First and foremost: like solving challenging puzzles!
· Have a degree in computer science, information management, operations management, supply chain management, econometrics, industrial engineering, mathematics or similar
· You are highly skilled in abstract- and analytical thinking: you can quickly understand business processes, discover optimization potential and translate it to a solution proposal that can be implemented by our developers.
· Like being the bridge between customers (ranging from management to planners) and our developers when discussing, defining and demonstrating our planning solutions
· Have great communication skills
· Have affinity with developing software solutions
· Like working in an international environment as one team: from working with international colleagues to international customers and closely working with our offshore development team
· Have a desire to learn about different business sectors such as air traffic control, meat processing, postal among others
· Are flexible and are willing to occasionally travel internationally

Ticking one or more of the following boxes will be regarded as a prerequisite:

· Experience with object-oriented modelling (UML)
· Knowledge of APS solutions, lean planning, MPS, ERP or SAP in our customers’ markets
· Relevant working experience as IT-, business consultant or manager in logistics, manufacturing, demand planning or workforce planning, applying KPI-based planning

This role is primarily based in The Logic Factory’s Chester office on the Wirral, which is easily commutable from Liverpool, Greater Manchester, Crewe, Flintshire, Cheshire, Deeside, North Wales, the surrounding Merseyside and North West areas. You will be expected to work with colleagues in Europe, India and the US. Some travel to and from customer sites in UK/Europe or occasionally India or the US will be required.
