
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be working on some of the toughest planning challenges in the world today. You will also contribute to various implementation projects, lend a hand in coaching and work in a quality assurance role.
Your extensive background in common Project Management topics like budget- and scope management helps you to hit the ground running with our internal teams and customers.
Your puzzle starts with the formation of the project team, which consists of Industry Process Consultants, Infrastructure Consultants, Operations Research Scientists, and DELMIA Quintiq Specialists. You’re in charge of uniting them and steering them towards one goal: deliver a project on schedule to the satisfaction of our customers. You will be given the support and tools you need to succeed – powerful management software and agile methodologies used by top development teams. Our customers range from mid-sized to large international logistics and manufacturing companies. You should have an affinity with logistic and/or manufacturing processes and work with and manage international customers and offshore development teams. You like being part of the implementation of a number of projects simultaneously with varying scopes and timelines and steering the project from kick-off to final go-live. You will ensure that the teams remain focused on results in terms of quality, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• A degree in bachelor/master’s level
• High abstraction and analytic ability
• Extensive relevant work experience as a project manager in a commercial environment – IT/software/supply chain required.
• Experience with (external) stakeholder management and commercial project budget ownership
• Excellent communication skills (in English)
• Flexible, willing to travel
• Ticking one or more of the following boxes will be regarded as an important pre:
• Affinity with logistics and/or manufacturing
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning & Scheduling in our customers’ markets
• A PMP Certification is a prerequisite
