Faces of TLF - Khyati

Meet Khyati, an IT professional from our Ahmedabad, India office.

Introduce yourself: Who are you and what do you do within TLF?
My name is Khyati Patel, and I am an IT professional with 15 years of overall experience, including 8 years of dedicated service at TLF. Within TLF, I am part of the IT team, where my primary focus is on IT infrastructure management, networking, and data center operations. My role revolves around ensuring the seamless functioning of our IT systems by managing critical infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage systems. I also oversee the design and maintenance of data centers, ensuring secure and efficient data transmission and operational continuity. Through my work, I aim to support The Logic Factory’s technological backbone, enabling smooth business operations and growth.

What do you like about your particular role?
What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to work extensively on network architecture and enhancements. I thrive on facing challenges, as they not only push me to think critically but also enable me to expand my knowledge and expertise. At TLF, every year brings new opportunities for learning and growth, whether it’s adopting new technologies, solving complex problems, or improving existing systems. This dynamic environment keeps me motivated and allows me to contribute meaningfully to the organization while advancing my professional skills.

What’s your favorite part about working for TLF overall, please explain.
My favorite part about working for TLF is its strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy balance between professional and personal life. TLF fosters an environment where career growth and personal development go hand in hand, ensuring that employees feel supported in both aspects of their lives. The culture of equality and transparency stands out, allowing everyone to share their ideas openly and contribute meaningfully. Additionally, it’s not always about work; we engage in cultural activities and outings that connect employees at their best, further strengthening our team spirit.

Who are you outside of TLF? Family/ friends, etc. How would they describe you?
Outside of TLF, I am both a family-oriented and social person. I am happily married to my husband, who is a doctor by profession and a guitarist by passion. My daughter is 10 years old and shares her father’s love for music, actively learning to play the guitar. I cherish spending quality time with my family, whether it’s venturing across India and the world or simply enjoying moments together at home. Traveling on vacations with them is one of my favorite ways to bond and create lasting memories.
I also make time to connect with my college friends’ gang, which reminds me of the joy of lifelong friendships. My family and friends would describe me as someone who values relationships deeply, loves discovering new places, and balances personal and professional life with enthusiasm.

What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?
For fun, I love to embrace life’s adventures and explore, as a true wanderlust at heart. Hiking and trekking are my favorite activities, as they allow me to discover untouched landscapes and connect with nature in its purest form. On the contrary, I also enjoy unwinding by watching movies and series, which provide a great escape into different worlds. Dancing is another passion of mine – whenever the music starts, I can’t resist moving to the rhythm.

Beyond these hobbies, I have a deep love for exploring new destinations around the world and immersing myself in diverse cultures. Additionally, I am a food enthusiast and enjoy trying different cuisines. Whether it’s savoring street food at bustling markets or learning traditional cooking techniques, my love for food adds another layer of richness to my travels.

Any fun hidden talent or skillsets?
My hidden talent is rooted in my love for classical music. I completed a three-year course in classical singing during my school days. However, as time passed and I couldn’t continue practicing, I’ve lost touch with it, and my singing now isn’t as good as it used to be. Nevertheless, it remains a beloved part of my past that shaped my appreciation for music.
