Meet Darshan, a Technical Application Engineer and part of our Performance Analysis team working out of our office in India.

Introduce yourself: who are you and what do you do within TLF?
I am an IT professional with nearly a decade of experience in the dynamic realm of infrastructure. Currently, I proudly work as a Technical Application Engineer at TLF, where my focus revolves around infrastructure-related profiles and providing technical support for DELMIA Quintiq environments.

I actively contribute to the development of scalable platforms, leveraging my expertise to enhance the efficiency of our systems. My journey in the IT field has been a fascinating exploration of technology, and I am enthusiastic about the challenges and innovations that come with my responsibilities at TLF.

What do you like about your particular role?
I’m truly enthused by my role at TLF for various reasons. Firstly, I’m surrounded by supportive seniors whose guidance is invaluable for my professional growth. The collaborative spirit among team members fosters innovation and makes every day enjoyable. The challenges I encounter keep me engaged and constantly evolving, providing a dynamic work environment. TLF offers countless opportunities to improve, making each project a valuable learning experience. What I appreciate most is the clear growth path laid out by the organization, ensuring that I contribute to team success.

What’s your favorite part about working for TLF overall, please explain.
What I cherish most about working for TLF is the exceptional work culture. It’s a vibrant and inclusive environment that promotes collaboration and innovation. The emphasis on open communication and mutual respect creates a sense of belonging, making every team member feel valued. TLF’s commitment to a healthy work-life balance is evident, ensuring that employees succeed both professionally and personally. Who are you outside of TLF? Family/ friends, etc. How would they describe you?
Outside of TLF, my family – my wife, two daughters, and my mother – is the basis of my life. Weekends are a time when I indulge in simple pleasures, whether it’s good food and drinks or joining in on spontaneous drives. Blessed with a big circle of friends, my weekends are always packed with laughter and friendship. Those close to me often describe me as the go-to person for advice, be it on matters of food, drinks, financial insights, or even the occasional discussion on politics. Striking a balance between familial bonds and social connections, I strive to create a life outside of work that is rich in meaningful relationships and shared experiences.

What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?
For fun and leisure, I engage myself in a variety of interests. Exploring the diverse category of food and drinks is a passion. Additionally, I find excitement in sports, particularly cricket and wrestling. On a more strategic note, I am a regular chess player, relishing the mental challenge it offers. I am open for a bullet game anytime.

Any fun hidden talent or skillsets?
I am quite observant of people’s style of speaking and body language. I can copy them. (Don’t take it seriously, hahaha) I also am a people person; I can find common interests with strangers and make them comfortable. It has been helpful in my profession and personal life. However, I always strive to improve my people-person skills.
