Faces of TLF - Nirav

Meet Nirav, an IT Administrator out of our Indian office.

Introduce yourself: who are you and what do you do within TLF?

Hi I’m Nirav, and I work as an IT Administrator for TLF India.  Fun fact: I am the oldest person working for TLF but I am always described as the youngest at heart!

What do you like about your particular role?

IT is my passion and I especially love it at TLF where new and upgraded technologies are introduced and used regularly. It keeps things challenging and interesting!

What’s your favorite part about working for TLF overall, please explain.

I’ve been with TLF for years. In fact, I was the first IT Person hired with TLF!  All network and servers’ systems are designed and built by me and our IT Infrastructure is like my baby.  It’s been so wonderful watching the company grow and seeing my new (and younger) colleagues work with and on the systems I put in place.

It’s such a fulfilling feeling seeing something you’ve managed and created being utilized and built upon day in and day out.

Who are you outside of TLF? Family/ friends, etc. How would they describe you?

There is not much of a difference between me outside or inside of TLF. What you see is what you get!!  I feel I get along with all age groups,  mostly because of my silly attitude.  You can always count on me to lighten the mood by cracking jokes and poking fun of things. (In jest!)

What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?

I like playing and watching most of the traditional sports here; Cricket, badminton, tennis, marbles, cycling etc.

As for a hobbies, I really enjoy figuring out how mechanical things work and I love to tinker with small projects.

Any fun hidden talent or skillsets?

I am a very open person, so no real hidden talents or skills.  I just try to gather the best information and learn as much as I can about a subject, so I can do it the best of my abilities.

A message to all?

Always try to find some time for yourself where you can enjoy a good family life along with your professional life.  Laugh hard and be happy in almost what ever you do!
