The Logic Factory successfully implements Dassault Systemes' DELMIA Quintiq application for Oscar Mayer.
Oscar Mayer, a brand of Kraft Heinz, recently went live with a tactical and operational Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Quintiq application across its US based operations. This application is designed to optimize the entire process of creating over 250 iconic Oscar Mayer products, from over 275 raw material and supplier combinations. Utilizing the DELMIA Quintiq application, implemented by The Logic Factory, Oscar Mayer is able to minimize food waste and maximize sourcing efficiency for its tasty products while successfully navigating the hundreds of rules dictated to a single recipe.
Prior to the DELMIA Quintiq implementation, operations such as inventory management and projection; recipe maintenance, monitoring, and manipulation; USDA compliance; and product analysis and planning were done by multiple legacy systems. Now with DELMIA Quintiq in place, this is all done easily utilizing one single system, which allows users to move away from and abandon spreadsheet planning.

Oscar Mayer planners now have the capability of fast optimization on operational planning as well as KPI planning and tracking, allowing for disruptions in their process to be quickly addressed. Quantifiable tactical planning became more robust, which allows for greater analytical capabilities such as how to best utilize their vendor contracts and plant capacity along the supply chain. All of which was done with no effect on their delicious products!
